News, show results and Litter information

Most SoftMaple dogs go to loving companion homes, or to personal hunting homes and are never shown. Titles do not make the dog or make a dog great. We are more interested in producing healthy cherished companions than having our primary goal to put letters before a dog's name. We do encourage people to do performance activities with their dogs. We believe a dog should be mentally challenged and stimulated. If your puppy is not given a "Job" to do, he will find other ways to occupy his time! Sometimes people get hooked on an activity and go on to compete. This can be a great way to bond with your dog. Thanks go out to all the dedicated owners and trainers who have put titles on SoftMaple dogs. Even if the title is CPE (Couch Potato Excellent!) Here is a list of some of our curlies we have owned or bred that have gone on to earn titles in the showring, obedience ring, agility ring or in the field.

9/1/2007 At the the Berks Co. Training Club's AKC agility trial, AG2 Softmaple Frolic In The Wind RN NAJ NF NAC NJC TG-N TN-O, qualified for her first AKC Standard leg with a first place. Gambol earned her Novice FAST (NF) title on Saturday with her third leg.

CH Soft Maple's O' Dark Thirty JH, SH, MH, WC, WCX, WCQ, CD, CGC TT HOF (Jet) is winner of the CCRCA annual Field Trophy(The Sarona Jacob of Marvadel & Sarona Sam of Marvadel Memorial Field Trophy)
Jet had 5 Senior passes, 4 Master Passes and obtained his Master Hunter title in 2003, for a total of 120 points! Jet is only the third MH CCR in history, and the first CCR with an AKC CH to become a Master Hunter! Also the first CCR with an obedience title to earn a MH.
